Albiñana Mario Andrés, ALBI stage name, born in 1950 in Valencia.

Art Studies:

Were in the School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Burjassot (Valencia), drawing, painting and modeling.

Industrial Design architecture at the Industrial College of Valencia.

Fine art: The trencadís.

It is a decorative technique made with chopped bits of pottery of different colors. Often used in outdoor murals, facades and sculptures.

Mario Albi intend to raise this technique to a higher category and make paintings that can hang in the interiors of the homes competing with oils and watercolors. So is doing. Using the same composition drawing if it were a painting on plywood board and pasting with glue ceramic pieces, replacing the ceramic paint.

His paintings are very laborious, the result is innovative, have lots of color, as can fit the decor classic or abstract issues, but all are notable for their originality.
